We have added a JV tournament in order to get those players more playing time.  It will be held on Sat may 15th at Mater Dei's field at Howell park.  We will play at 9AM, then at either 1PM or 3PM, depending upon outcome of game 1.  2 games will be played total on that day.

Most of you probably know already, but Jasper on Thursday 4/22 is now at 5PM, no jv game

Schedule for this weekend was just given to me.  Pool play with 2 pools of 4 teams.  We play 2 games on Friday, 5PM and 7PM (all times in this message will be Evansville time).  On Saturday we will play our last pool play game at 8AM.  The top 2 teams from each pool will play in a championsip round game at 12:30PM  and the winners will meet at 3PM.  The bottom 2 teams from each pool will play a consolation game at 10:30 AM, one game only.  This means we will play 4 or 5 games this weekend, 2 on Friday night, 2 or 3 on Saturday.

We will be staying at the Best Western Crossroads on the East side of Indianapolis on Friday 4/23.  There are currently six rooms being held for families who would like to stay.  The rooms will be held until 4/12.  If you would like one of these rooms call the hotel at 1-317-353-6966.  The rooms are held under the name Memorial Softball.  You will need to put them in your name and provide a credit card to hold them.  I recommend acting quickly because rooms near the tournament site may be difficult to find.  I have provided a link to the Trip Adviser site for reviews, map to the hotel, photos, etc.  Look in the links section of this site.  The tournament will be played at Brookside Park in Indy.  This field is on the near East side of the city, near the field where the football team played Chatard for semi-state.  Any questions, feel free to give me a call.

I have attached two files below for ordering parent and fan gear.  I would like to order them on 3/22, so please try to get me forms and money by 3/20 (our 1st contest, scrimmage with Princeton).  You can send the forms with your player or give to me at the field.  I would appreciate payment at the time of order, but can wait until delivery if necessary.  Thanks for showing your support for our program and helping spread the word about Memorial Tiger Softball.

Jasper game on 4/22 will begin at 4:00.  It was originally scheduled for 5:00.  Please note this is a change and also an earlier time than other home games.

All regular practices will be at Nativity.  Practice time Mon-Fri will be 3:15 to 5:30.  It may be neccesary in the future to practice JV from 4:00-6:00.  This will not start until after spring break if I need to do it all.  If we practice on Saturday practice time will be 8:30-10:30 AM.  In the event we cannot practice outside we practice in the gym.  I will announce those times as far in advance as I can.  We have to share time with baseball.  Practice will be either 3-5 or 5-7 on those days.

I will use this site to keep all players, parents, and fans informed of all important news related to the team.  Check out the links on the right side.  I have linked highschoolsports.net for all schedule and result information, and I will occaisonally ask players to check out info on the mycoach site (password required).  I think I can provide a password to parents who may be interested in the training videos I post, just let me know.

This is the brochure and order form for parent and fan gear for this season. Fleece and polo will feature the embroidered design. T Shirt and sweatshirts will feature screenprinted design. See design file for a better look at it. T Shirts and sweatshirts can include player name and number. I would like to place the order on 3/22, so please have forms in by scrimmage day on 3/20.
